Wil Riera (b. 1982-2019) is a freelance photojournalist based in Caracas, Venezuela. After eight years working as an engineer in Caracas, he discovered the world of photography in 2013, when he joined the photojournalism one-year program at The International Center of Photography in New York. He expanded his education in 2016, attending the Eddie Adams Workshop XXIX.

In 2014, he decided to move back to Venezuela. Since then, he's been working as a professional photographer for both local and international media outlets, covering the Venezuelan political and economic crisis. He has been covering news and features as a usual contributor for BBC Mundo, Bloomberg News and The Wall Street Journal, and as stringer for the The Associated Press. Also, his work on Venezuela has been featured in BBC, Stern Magazine, Al Jazeera, Vice Magazine, The New York Times, Time, Forbes, Washington Post, Folha do Sao Paulo (Brazil), among others.
